Roundhouse Entertainment, in conjunction with Frontier Touring, are pumped to confirm one of the most acclaimed and innovative electronic duos in the world – THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS – will bring their world-renowned live show to a day on the green at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong on Saturday 2 March, 2024. With show direction by the iconic Smith & Lyall, this mind-bending show will be the duo’s ONLY VICTORIAN SHOW.

Kickstarting the party will be special guest DJs: THE PRESETS DJ Set, ANNA LUNOE and JAMES HOLROYD.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 8 September at 1.00pm local time via Ticketmaster, with AAMI members’ presale beginning Monday 4 September at 1.00pm local time, and a day on the green members’ presale beginning Wednesday 6 September at 2.00pm local time.

Having just announced their tenth studio album, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS – Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons – are reminding us of their legendary status in the electronic music scene.

Their first full-length album since 2019’s No Geography, which featured massive singles Got To Keep On, Free Yourself and Mad As Hell, the duo will release For That Beautiful Feeling, via EMI on 8 September – pre-order here.

Much to the anticipation of fans, the project promises the iconic sound of THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS, a record that hunts for and captures that wild moment when sound overwhelms you and almost pulls you under yet ultimately lets you ride its wave, to destinations unknown. That transcendent state they evoke like no one else in modern music - it’s The Chemical Brothers at their very best, reminding us of their legendary status in the electronic music scene. THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS recently announced details of a career-spanning retrospective book. Paused in Cosmic Reflection is due for publication by White Rabbit on 26 October 2023 (available for pre-order in Australia here). The book is made up of new interviews with the band, as well as many of their friends and collaborators from the past three decades, including Noel Gallagher, Aurora, Wayne Coyne, Beth Orton, Beck, Michel Gondry and many more.

About The Presets
The Presets – Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes - are recognised worldwide for their dynamic live performances and epic DJ sets. From playing hundreds of shows domestically and internationally, including key slots at renowned international music festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, SXSW, Exit, Melt and Splendour In The Grass, The Presets (DJ Set) are guaranteed to ignite The Chemical Brothers audiences in Sydney and Geelong.

Best known for their electro-smash club hits, in 2008 The Presets released the chart topping Apocalypso, selling in excess of Triple Platinum sales in Australia and features four hit singles, including the classic My People. Setting new standards for dance music in Australia, The Presets went on to win 5 ARIA awards (and 2 ARIA Artisan Awards) including Album of the Year, as well as the J Award and FBI SMAC Award for Album of The Year. Kim and Julian also shared the coveted Songwriter of The Year Award at the 2009 APRA Awards. Follow up album Pacifica was released in 2012, featuring Rolling Stone Magazine’s Song Of The Year, Ghosts. The Presets returned in 2018 with their long awaited fourth album, Hi Viz, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes album chart within hours of its release and was nominated for two ARIA Awards as well as the prestigious Australian Music Prize. About Anna Lunoe
Anna Lunoe, the boundary-breaking artist from Sydney, has made her mark as a versatile DJ, radio host, producer, vocalist, and curator in the dance scene. Rising from a radio host on FBi community radio, she quickly became one of Australia's top DJs. Her debut EP, Anna Lunoe & Friends, showcased her exceptional DJ and production skills, leading to a series of club bangers on labels like Future Classic, Fools Gold, Mad Decent, and OWSLA. Anna's success extended to the USA, with appearances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and EDC Las Vegas, where she was the first solo female to play the main stage.

Through the pandemic, Anna maintained momentum, releasing the single Back Seat and launching the Create/Destroy podcast. 2022 brought the release of her club-anthem Double Dip and the acclaimed EP Saturday Love. With no plans to slow down, Anna remains on track and ready to impress with festival appearances and headline performances, leaving an exciting year ahead with more music and touring in 2023 into 2024, including playing at all three The Chemical Brothers shows!

About James Holroyd
Long standing opening DJ for The Chemical Brothers, James Holroyd started plying his trade back in 1991 in the heady days of the original Back to Basics at Leeds' Music Factory in the UK. He was introduced to the decks playing a mixture of funk, house, disco and hip hop, and by 1992 his unique style had secured him a job as resident. James Holroyd is guaranteed to warm up live audiences at all three Australian shows!

Last in Australia in 2019, performing sold-out headline shows across the East Coast, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS have been busy touring the world. Embarking on headline tours and festivals sets across the UK & Europe, the duo are only building further anticipation for their dedicated Australian fans when they grace our shores next February & March.

Melbourne On The Move Take advantage of Melbourne On The Move’s concert transportation for an easy and carefree ride to a day on the green. Return bus transfers available from Melbourne CBD (Carlton Gardens, Carlton – opposite Spring Street), Laverton and Werribee. Return bus transfers also available from Waurn Ponds (10-minute trip to venue) – Waurn Ponds Park n Ride (opposite skate park on Pioneer Road).
