MORE SHOWS ADDED NATIONALLY!
The national concert event a day on the green is pleased to announce another three shows to its upcoming Classic Oz Rock concert series.
Five events were announced at wineries around Australia late last year to an overwhelming response, some venues selling out and others close to it. More than 7000 tickets were sold to the Hunter Valley, NSW concert in just three days!
Noiseworks, Ian Moss, Ross Wilson, Richard Clapton, Dragon, Daryl Braithwaite, 1927 and Choirboys are playing across the shows which offer five or six bands for just $89.
It's clear music fans everywhere have embraced the great line-ups, and with another three concerts in Brisbane, Perth and Bowral announced today.......let there be rock, we say!
With classics like 'Take Me Back', 'Love Somebody', 'No Lies', 'Tucker's Daughter', 'Bow River', 'When The War Is Over', 'Eagle Rock', 'Come Said The Boy', 'Cool World', 'Girls On The Avenue', 'Capricorn Dancer', 'April Sun In Cuba', 'Are You Old Enough', 'Howzat', 'That's When I Think Of You', 'Run To Paradise' and 'Boys Will Be Boys' to name just a few, the wineries promise to be one giant sing-a-long of home-grown hits.
With good food and wine and your favourite deck chair, a magnificent location, classic rock all day long and tickets at just $89 - it sounds like a sensational value-for-money party day to us. The three new shows are all on sale on Friday February 3.
The 2011/2012 a day on the green season has seen concerts by Meat Loaf, Steely Dan & Steve Winwood, Cold Chisel and Sade, with Daryl Hall & John Oates / Icehouse (February) to come. With these Oz rock shows promoters Roundhouse Entertainment are proud to continue their decade-long support of our great Australian artists.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
NOISEWORKS - For a decade Noiseworks reigned as one of our most popular and acclaimed rock bands. Led by the charismatic Jon Stevens, the band sold in excess of 1.2 million albums spawning 15 hit singles including 'No Lies', 'Take Me Back' and 'Love Somebody'. Since reforming, Noiseworks have retained their brilliant live reputation and are working on their first new album since 1991.
IAN MOSS - 'Mossy' holds a revered place in Australian music. His soulful vocals and incredible guitar playing ensure his live sets are always amazing. Fresh from the extraordinary Cold Chisel reunion tour and performing songs covering both his Chisel and solo careers, this master musician will be in red hot form.
ROSS WILSON - Singer, songwriter and producer Ross 'Mr Eagle Rock' Wilson is one of the truce icons of the Aussie music industry. From the legendary Daddy Cool through 80's chart-toppers Mondo Rock, through his acclaimed solo work including latest album 'I Come In Peace', Ross's live shows are always huge a day on the green favourites.
RICHARD CLAPTON - Richard has endeared himself to music-lovers everywhere through his heartfelt inspired performances and a songbook that defines our times. With hits like 'Girls On The Avenue', 'Deep Water', 'Capricorn Dancer', Richard was a thoroughly deserving and popular inductee into the ARIA Hall Of Fame.
DRAGON - With an unforgettable run of chart-toppers like 'Are You Old Enough', 'April Sun In Cuba', 'Still In Love With You', 'Rain' and many others, Dragon's legacy is of one of Australasia's most successful pop bands. Joined several years ago by veteran vocalist Mark Williams as front man, a revitalised Dragon released a new EP 'Chase The Sun' in November.
DARYL BRAITHWAITE - In a distinguished career spanning more than 40 years, Daryl is a multi award-winning premier performer. Sherbet re-wrote the history books with 20 Top 40 hits, success which continued to Daryl's solo career with hits like 'As The Days Go By', 'Horses' and 'One Summer'. He continues to perform to a dedicated fan base all over the country.
1927 - Fronted by singer Eric Weideman, 1927's classic album "...ISH" remains one of the highest selling debut albums ever by an Australian artist with songs like 'That's When I Think Of You', 'If I Could' and 'Compulsory Hero' remaining radio favourites to this day.
CHOIRBOYS - 'Run to Paradise', 'Boys Will Be Boys' and 'Never Gonna Die' helped put the Choirboys distinctive stamp on Aussie rock'n'roll. Headed by rock belter Mark Gable, they charted a course from pubs to the charts with unflagging energy and commitment.
