Final preparations are now underway for the very first a day on the green at Mitchelton Wines, Nagambie on Saturday December 13.

With about 6000 music fans attending from all over the region, the concert has been an overwhelming success with promoter Roundhouse Entertainment confirming it will be an annual event.

Fans will enjoy the music of Jimmy Barnes, The Living End, Ian Moss, Troy Cassar-Daley and Mahalia Barnes & The Soul Mates in the eighth a day on the green concert of Barnes’ 30th Anniversary national tour. 

With all bands acclaimed for their songs, musical expertise and brilliant live performances, it will be first-class quality music across the whole day in a great value-for-money concert.

To make sure the good vibes continue all day, there’s no-one quite like a day on the green’s resident DJ and party master Grand Master Baitz. Nagambie music fans will have the pleasure of meeting the Grand Master, who spins the tracks between acts at all a day on the green events across the country. The good vibrations and extremely funky multi-outfit changes of Grand Master Baitz are not to be missed!     

Patrons can also check out the extensive range of a day on the green and artist merchandise available at our Merch Tent on the day.  Many of the artists do signings at the Merch Tent, giving fans a chance to get meet them.  Check the signing times at the Merch Tent.

As this is the first event to be held in Nagambie, there is important information that everyone attending needs to be aware of. 

EVENT INFORMATION:
a day on the green is a reserved seating and general admission ticket event. For GA tickets, byo picnic rugs and deck chairs.   

Patrons are encouraged to bring their own picnic food or alternatively purchase on site from quality local providers.   The winery is a licensed venue so strictly NO BYO alcohol.  For a complete list of FAQ’s and full event information, click here.

COACH & NAGAMBIE SHUTTLE BUS INFORMATION:
Promoters encourage patrons to leave the car at home and get a convenient bus shuttle. The shuttle departs to the winery every 30 minutes between 2.00pm-4.30pm from Goulburn Valley Highway, near water tower at the corner of Marie Street and from Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park between 1.45pm and 4.15pm plus at the conclusion of the concert.   Cost $25 per person return.

Coaches are picking up from Wallan, Seymour, Bendigo, Albury, Heathcote, Euroa and Wangaratta.

PARKING:
Car parking at the winery opens at 12.30pm.

CHARITY COLLECTION:
At every a day on the green event, promoters offers a local charity the opportunity to bring tins and collect during the concert.  Wirrate CFA and Hilldeane CFA will be collecting at Mitchelton Wines, so please give generously.

They will also be available at the winery gate on Saturday.  General admission tickets are $105.
