The first taste of Kasey and Shane's new album is the single 'Adam and Eve' which hits radio July 23. Kasey and Shane said: "Having been almost five years since we made 'Rattlin' Bones' we thought it was time to 'Tempt Fate' and challenge our marriage by making another album together! We have both made solo albums in between but in the back of our minds we always knew we would end up making music together again.
"We've played some a day on the green shows in the past and have always loved being a part of them. They're always at beautiful outdoor venues with such awesome crowds who always seem to have such a great time. We can't wait to play it again."
Kasey and Shane's first collaboration 'Rattlin' Bones' swept all before it winning ARIA, APRA and CMAA Awards, and with 13 new songs on 'Wreck and Ruin', this gifted duo are once again set to showcase their stunning talents as writers, producers and performers.
Firmly cemented in the nation's musical culture, John Williamson's impressive career spans more than forty years. Along the journey he has been inducted into the prestigious ARIA Hall of Fame, secured three ARIA Awards, 24 Golden Guitars, MO Awards, APRA Awards, Platinum and Gold albums and over four million album sales to name just some of the recognition he has earnt.
Hits like 'True Blue', 'Cootamundra Wattle', 'Rip Rip Woodchip' and 'Raining On The Rock' are but a few of the 400+ songs written by the multi award-winning songwriter. John will be performing songs from his 2012 album 'The Big Red' as well as the hits and unofficial anthems that he is celebrated for.
Superlative story-teller, hugely emotive voice, a great chronicler of the human heart.... that's some of the praise bestowed upon one of Australia's most loved and respected singer-songwriters, Troy Cassar-Daley.
Troy's career has spanned eight albums over 16 years with accolades including four ARIA's, 21 Golden Guitars, two APRA Country Song of the Year awards, seven Deadlys and four CMAA Entertainer of the Year awards. His current album 'Home' has continued his huge success, with the third single and title track to be released in August. Troy loves a day on the green events and is sure to be in fine form.
Catherine Britt's star is set to shine even brighter with the release of her fifth album 'Always Never Enough' on August 10, of which she has written all but one track. Recorded in the US and produced by Bill Chambers, the album features collaborations with legendary country icon Guy Clarke and indie front man and good friend Tim Rogers plus a swag of Americana's best musicians.
Britt's song-writing continues to win major recognition. 'Sweet Emmylou' won Single of the Year at the CMAA Awards in Tamworth in January and also took second place at the International Song-writing Competition (Americana category). She recently performed at the Song Summit's Women of Vanda and Young showcase alongside Megan Washington and in late July returns to the US by invitation to play at the annual Woody Guthrie Folk Festival. There's no doubt she is destined for big things.
Often called the "sweetheart" of Australian country music, Felicity Urquhart has racked up multi Golden Guitar and Mo Awards and continues to push the boundaries of alt country with her gritty song-writing and exquisite voice. Her recent album 'Landing Lights' again won incredible reviews for its honesty and gentle power. A mark of Felicity's high-standing in the country world was her choice as the host of the ABC radio institution 'Saturday Night Country'. She's a popular and talented performer who will start the day in brilliant style.
