As expected, there was a stampede for tickets to the a day on the green FLEETWOOD MAC concert at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong when they went on sale at 10.00am today.
Within an hour all 17,000 general public tickets for the Saturday November 7 show were totally sold out! There are a limited number of Concert & Dining packages and VIP Meet & Greet packages remaining.
Today’s result makes the concert one of the fastest-selling in a day on the green’s 14 year history.
It will undoubtedly be one of the biggest concert events – if not THE biggest – ever held in Geelong.
Promoter Michael Newton said: “It’s fantastic to bring Fleetwood Mac back to Mt Duneed Estate after the huge disappointment of the first tour being cancelled. I know we’ve made a lot of Mac fans very happy! We’re absolutely delighted to be presenting this much-loved iconic band to the a day on the green audience. We know the show is going to be something very special.”
The event will also provide a great boon to the local economy with fans travelling from not only Melbourne and the Bellarine Peninsula, but from right across Victoria.
